Aunt Jane’s Cheesecake

Oven: 375°F | 450°F  • Bake: 25 min | 10 min  • Pan: 9″pie pan

Ingredients

  • Crust
    • 20 graham crackers (almost 1 pkg.)
    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Filling
    • 4 (3-oz) packages cream cheese
    • 2 eggs, well beaten
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Topping
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 pint sour cream

Directions

  • Press graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar into pan, saving some to sprinkle on top
  • Blend cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla well
  • Pour mixture into graham cracker crust
  • Bake at 375° for 25 minutes
  • Cover with sour cream topping
    Bake 10 minutes longer at 450°
  • Cool
